The Mystery House Guest!

I never would have purchased this house if I’d known that this creepy book was living in it. When I say living, I mean literally living in my house! The words flowing from this book are spilling all over the walls; everything from Poe to Hemmingway is written in some sort of antique black ink and flowing up to the ceiling. Every time I would close the book, the words would remain for a few seconds then begin to melt off and disappear into thin air. But whenever someone would walk into the room, the book would reopen and the words would be pouring out from the pages and spilling all over the walls and ceiling. One night the book was open, and voices were heard; like someone was reading from the book. As I went to close the book this time, the book began to levitate from the table and chase me down the hall into my bedroom. There I hid in my closet; waiting for the book to resume back to its original position on the table.
Frantic about what I was going to do about this mysterious house guest, I call my realtor and told him what was going on in my house and wanted to know who had lived in this house before me. He claims that the house is fine and the previous owners had died in a car accident two years prior. They were bookstore owners in town, so when the house was for sale, so was their business. At this point I was trying to put two and two together and was hoping to come up with some reasonable, and a not so insane explanation as to why I have a living, possessed book in my living room with creepy voices and writing decorating my walls! I make it out of the closet to take a tour through my new home and found the library. I searched through all the weird books that were shelved by the couple that had lived in my now new home. As I searched, I came across this one titled The Book of Spells. “Who are these people?” I wondered. I pull the book off the shelf and start to read it. Skimming the pages I find a spell for possessed items. I read the spell out loud and all of a sudden a book flew off the shelf and onto the floor. Not paying it any mind, I keep reading; again, another book, onto the floor. Before I knew it, there are books dropping off the shelves like raindrops. How I wish these were raindrops!
Now I am thoroughly freaked out! I find myself dodging books and skimming the pages of this book of spells with hopes of finding a counter spell to make all of this go away! To no avail, I am finding nothing. I look up, and the book from my living room has made its way into the library of possessed books. The book comes to the center of the room with all its words and their glory filling my walls like new pages in a journal, the other books sit on their ends and watch. Next, their pages open and they begin to splatter their words and unite with the head book master. I am surrounded by the written word and I don’t know how to deal with all of this madness! I crawl underneath the desk and I keep searching for the counter spell, hoping something will come across the page. Just when I think I found it, my book begins to sputter around in my hands. I quickly start chiming out the spell to put all the books at ease, and before I know it, all the books are finding their places back on the shelves, even the head book that was found chanting in my living room. All the walls were wiped clean from the ink and the chanting disappeared. I was still in disarray at what was going on in my house. I have never been so frightened in all my life! Even for my love of the written word, this was a little too much for me. And that’s why tomorrow I’m setting it on fire!
